Louis Vuitton x Crocs

For this studio project, we've explored bàn ghế nhựa, the iconic plastic stool found on sidewalks in Vietnam. Inspired by two famous brands, we’ve invented the very first street-food chair merging Louis Vuitton and Crocs identities.

Horosha Studio draws inspiration from its mixed French and Vietnamese culture.

Intended as a manifesto for our studio, this project intertwines references to our native city, Paris, the capital of art, fashion, and luxury, and our home city, Saigon, whose eclectic mix of cultural influences, both modern and traditional, and tireless energy inspire us every day.

When discovering Vietnamese urban life, walking its streets and tasting its street food, one inevitably comes across these small, colorful plastic stools.

We wanted to pay tribute to this iconic object and bring it together with the luxury house Louis Vuitton and the popular shoe brand Crocs.

The shape of the stool reminded us of trunks from the golden age, inspiring us to use the iconic LV monogram canvas and metal accessories.

The small holes in the seat recalled the famous foam sandals, leading us to imagine a collection of unique charms.

Seemingly polar opposites, the two strong identities of Louis Vuitton and Crocs merge through a shared object: the bàn ghế nhựa. They celebrate the very first luxury street food stool, resulting from extensive research into craft techniques, textures, modeling, down to the smallest detail of the rivets.

Shapes, colors, and textures complement each other. Traditional 3D technology, artificial intelligence, and real-time animation all come together seamlessly. Just like Horosha Studio.
