Marking the 50th anniversary of the renaming of Saigon-Gia Dinh into Hô Chi Minh City, officially enacted on July 2, 1976 and commemorated on July 2, 2026, we conceived and produced a monumental video-mapping project designed to celebrate this symbolic milestone in Vietnamese history.

Ho Chi Minh Festival

Approach

Projected onto the façade of Hô Chi Minh City's City Hall, the piece transformed the architecture into a living narrative canvas, revealing its lines, symmetries and details through a dialogue of light, rhythm and movement.

Values

The building became a living entity, embodying the symbols and values of Vietnamese identity: crystal evoking purity and modernity, bamboo embodying resilience and rootedness, and traditional dragons symbolizing strength and protection of the nation.

The mapping unfolds as a poetic journey, weaving together nature, craftsmanship and cultural heritage. The composition gradually builds in chromatic and luminous intensity, opening onto a collective vision turned toward the future.

This visual creation is accompanied by an original sound composition by AC3, designed to resonate with the architecture of the site, extending the immersion beyond sight alone.
